<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a SO<SB>2</SB>oxidation ratio of a denitration catalyst by removing no iron compound from a used catalyst by washing, and to also improve a denitration ratio of a regeneration denitration catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: In the regeneration method for the used denitration catalyst, after the used denitration catalyst containing one element or more of oxide of Mo, W and V and titania is previously impregnated with sulfuric acid and aluminum sulfate, it is dried or calcined. Thereafter, the surface of the catalyst is coated with the denitration catalyst component containing at least the oxide of V and TiO<SB>2</SB>, a suspension substance containing colloidal silica and (1) a slurry containing an aqueous solution making aluminum sulfate and sulfuric acid as a solute, (2) a slurry containing an aqueous aluminum sulfate solution or (3) a slurry containing an aqueous solution making aluminum sulfate and sulfuric acid as a solute, and thereafter, it is further dried or calcined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
