PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which generates data for interpolating the data portion missed during readout by a scanner. SOLUTION: The image processor has at least a read means 100, which optically reads and converts an image into an electrical signal, a shading correction means 101 which corrects the read signal according to data of a reference white plate, a power-varying means 102 which enlarges or reduces image data, a spatial filter means 103, aγ-conversion means 104 which corrects the write density, and a half-tone processing means 105 which reproduces gradations of an original and interpolates pixels missed during the read, by using the power-varying means 102. Two other claims are disclosed. |
