<p>The method involves detecting unevenness (10) of a roadway (11) when driving forward before a motor vehicle (1) i.e. commercial vehicle, using a sensor system (9), where the vehicle is provided with multiple axles (2) and multiple wheels (3). Axle loads and/or wheel loads are distributed in such a way that a leveling load of the roadway is obtained when driving over the detected unevenness by using an axle and/or wheel load distribution device (6).</p>
