PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key system for connecting a filter cartridge to a filter holder so as not to confuse the cartridge with that of another set. SOLUTION: The filter cartridge and holder respectively have key surfaces, that is, one is a protruded key and the other is a recessed lock 24. By the cooperation of these key surfaces, the filter cartridge can be fitted to the holder, which prevents a cartridge, which does not meet the holder, from being fitted into the holder, thereby, for example, avoiding disposing an unsuitable or unnecessary specific type cartridge in a filtration or other treatment process.
