The device has two air inlet channels (10,20) having an inlet opening (12,22), through which the inlet channels are impinged with ambient air and remains directly or indirectly in contact with an airplane air-conditioning system (100) on the outlet side. An adjustable damper (30) is provided, which blocks the inlet channel (20) in one position and unblocks in another position and stands in the area before the inlet opening of the air inlet channel (10) in a third position. An independent claim is included for an airplane with airplane air conditioning system.
