<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery cell and a fuel battery stack which provide excellent power generation characteristics even without forming passages in a separator itself and can be mass-produced. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel battery cell comprises a membrane electrode assembly 3 including a solid polymer electrolyte 1, and electrodes 2a and 2b disposed on both sides of the solid polymer electrolyte membrane, gas diffusion membranes 4a and 4b disposed facing the membrane electrode assembly, and separators 6a and 6b disposed facing the gas diffusion membranes. The separators are not provided with passages 10a and 10b, but gas passage forming plates 5a and 5b are disposed between the separators and the gas diffusion membranes for forming passages through which a fuel gas or an oxidation gas flows. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
