PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent corrosion or fracture inside a heat exchanger, caused by boiling, by preventing the boiling of cooling water near an inlet-side header plate 1 of a high-temperature fluid 8. SOLUTION: An inclined cooling water guide face 10 is disposed on an outer face of the inlet-side header plate 1 or an outer face of a flat tube 3 opposite a cooling water inlet 6 near the inlet-side header plate 1, and a space between the cooling water guide face 10 and a casing 5 is expanded to a downstream side.
