PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on/off control circuit of a half wave drive high voltage discharge parts, which can individually on/off-control the two half-wave drive high voltage discharge parts by using one output port of a microcomputer. SOLUTION: The circuit includes: the half-wave drive high voltage discharge parts 1 and 2; the microcomputer 3; and a photo triac coupler 5 switching electric connection/interruption of the half-wave drive high voltage discharge parts 1 and 2 and an AC power supply 4 in accordance with a control signal outputted from one output port of the microcomputer 3. The half-wave drive high voltage discharge parts 1 and 2 are connected to the AC power supply 4 through the photo triac coupler 5 with reversed polarity in the on/off control circuit of the half-wave drive high voltage discharge parts.
