PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor-equipped rolling bearing device capable of appropriately detecting a load acting on a rolling element, according to the size of the contact surface between the raceway surface of an outer ring and the rolling element. SOLUTION: The sensor-equipped rolling bearing device includes a rolling bearing 1 and an ultrasonic sensor 2. The rolling bearing 1 includes: the outer ring 11 where the raceway surface 11u is formed at an inner periphery; an inner ring 12 where the raceway surface 14u is formed at an outer periphery; and a ball 15 that is rolled by contact with the raceway surfaces 11u, 14u of the outer and inner rings 11, 12. The ultrasonic sensor 2 transmits ultrasonic waves to the raceway surface 11u of the outer ring 11 by vibrating oscillators 22-24, and has a vibration surface Q for receiving the reflection waves of the ultrasonic waves on the raceway surface 11u. Then, the ultrasonic sensor 2 has a plurality of oscillators 22-24, and changes the size of the vibration surface Q by selecting the oscillator to be vibrated from the plurality of oscillators 22-24 based on the amplitude of the reflection waves.
