The method involves injecting a bright component of a cover plate in an injection mold (14). The injected bright component is transferred into an injection mold (16) for injection molding of a frame component of the cover plate. A molding material of the frame component is injected by injection nozzles (30-34) spaced apart from each other and attached directly to a surface of the frame component such that the molding material is injected by one of the nozzles until the material reaches an area of the other nozzle. The molding material is injected by the latter nozzle.
