PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk storage apparatus which allows the easy takein and takeout of a disk by one hand. SOLUTION: A case body 11 has a storage chamber 21 for storing a disk 1. The chamber 21 has a long and narrow disk insertion opening 22 and an inside face guide groove 23 continuing to one end of the opening. A holding member 12 is provided in the chamber movably between a storage position where the disk is stored in the chamber and a takeout position where a part of the disk is protruded from the insertion opening when the disk is inserted from the opening. An energizing member 13 is provided to energize the holding member toward the takeout position. A clamp 14 is so provided that it fixes the holding member when the holding member is moved to the storage position resisting the energizing power of the energizing member and releases the holding member when the holding member fixed at the storage position is pressed resisting the energizing power of the energizing member.
