PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a table for steering for an automobile with sufficient handling fitted to the steering wheel of various kinds of automobiles, physique of a user and usage. SOLUTION: The steering table A is provided with an engagement unit 10 detachably engaged with an upper part of a rim R of the steering wheel S of the automobile; a base plate 20 connected to the engagement unit and rested on the steering wheel; and a table plate 30 connected to the base plate. A spacer part 23 abutted on a rim R of the steering wheel is provided on a back surface 20b of the base plate, and when the base plate is rested on the steering wheel, a space G capable of avoiding contact of a swelling part M of the steering wheel with the base plate is formed.
