An air-conditioner is provided to facilitate the cleaning or replacement of the filter unit and to remove the need of separate cover for covering the opening or filter unit whereby the filter unit is drawer type and the front side of the unit is a part of the exterior of the air-conditioner body. An air-conditioner comprises a main body(2) having an air intake(2a) on the top and an opening(2b) on the front upper side, a filter frame attached to the lower side of the air intake through the opening of the main body, one or more filters arranged in the filter frame, and a filter unit(40) including an exterior member which is positioned in the front of the filter frame to form the exterior. The exterior member includes a protrusion(2c) so that the front surface is on the same plane as the front surface of the main body. |
