PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a primary circuit board and a secondary circuit board are separately arranged in a conventional ion generator and the whole shape of the ion generator can be made thin by preparing a voltage-boosting coil between both boards but there is a trouble that the voltage-boosting coil is difficult to be shielded since a voltage-boosting transformer is arranged to be sandwiched by both boards. SOLUTION: The voltage-boosting coil is arranged at one side of a casing, a terminal connected with the primary circuit board and a terminal connected with the secondary circuit board are vertically projected from the voltage-boosting coil, and the primary circuit board and the second circuit board are arranged in the casing by vertically piling up the primary circuit board and the secondary circuit board.
