<p>The method involves attaching a gas lock to branch pipe nozzles (2) and incorporating a flexible expandable sealing ring (8) between clamping plates (6, 7). A bolt (5) axially penetrating the plates is tightened in a screw nut (11) by screwing. The bolt is supported at an end of axial-parallel slotted sheet metal cylinder (10), which lies at one of the plates. A sheet metal strip of the cylinder staying between slots (9) is folded so that the strip forms a tooth crest whose tooth grips below a wall of a gas supply line restrains and presses the nozzles from its seat by a gas pressure. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a plug for closing branch pipes of gas lines (2) a welding-closure plate for a gas line branch pipe.</p> |
