PRIMER CAPABLE OF DETECTING ENTEROVIRUS AND PCR-BASED ENTEROVIRUS DETECTION METHOD USING THE SAME

A PCR(polymerase chain reaction)-based enterovirus detection method is provided to ensure diagnosis of enterovirus and diseases related to the enterovirus and detect all kinds of enterovirus. A PCR(polymerase chain reaction)-based enterovirus detection method comprises a cDNA synthesis step, a first PCR step, and a second PCR step. In the cDNA synthesis step and the first PCR step, the same primer is used. The primer having SEQ ID NO:1 or SEQ ID NO:3 for the first PCR step is characterized by not including inosine as a primer combination. The primer for the second PCR step is also a primer combination consisting of SEQ ID NO:4 or SEQ ID NO:7. The enterovirus includes poliovirus, Coxsackievirus A, Coxsackievirus B, Echovirus, etc.
