METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING VIDEO CALL

A method and a system for processing a video call are provided to increase the user satisfaction by preventing a call connection failure in a user aspect in advance. An originating terminal transmits a video call(S200), and a mobile switching center request the subscriber information of a destination terminal to a home location register(S202). The home location register transmits the destination routing information of the destination terminal and the subscriber information to a switching center(S204). The switching center judges whether or not the destination terminal supports a video call(S206). If not, the switching center transmits the video call disable message to the originating terminal(S208) and releases a video call session with the originating terminal(S210). When a user inputs a voice call connection retrial command(S214), the originating terminal originates a voice call to the switching call(S216).
