<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for controlling an electric fan for vehicles wherein vibration produced in the bracket 14 of an electric fan 11 can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The natural frequency of the bracket 14 for fixing the electric fan 11 in the direction of torsion is determined. A PWM signal whose frequency is between a frequency equivalent to 1/n (n is a natural number) of this natural frequency in the direction of torsion and a frequency equivalent to 1/(n+1) is outputted. MOSFET (Q1) provided between the electric fan 11 and a battery VB is thereby controlled. This makes it possible to suppress vibration produced in the bracket 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
