A defective product removal section (5) is placed between a folding section (4) and a counter ejector section (6) of a box-making machine. The defective product removal section (5) has sorting means (53) for conveying to the counter ejector section (6) a corrugated cardboard box (B) which is determined that the quality of joining at a joint of the box is good by determination means and, on the other hand, discharging a corrugated cardboard box (B) which is determined that the quality of joining at the joint is not good by the determination means. The construction enables only corrugated cardboard boxes (B) with good quality to be conveyed to the counter ejector section (6). Consequently, defective corrugated cardboard boxes (B) can be easily removed without requiring complicated work in which the defective corrugated cardboard boxes (B) are extracted from among corrugated cardboard boxes sorted in a predetermined number of batches by the counter ejector section (6) and, after that, only corrugated cardboard boxes (B) with good quality are resorted into a predetermined number of batches. |
