<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer in which the service life of a dielectric memory to be used as a program memory can be extended without degrading its utilization efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A branch instruction detection part detects the agreement of an instruction code to be acquired from a memory by a CPU with the instruction code of a prescribed branch instruction. When the matching of the instruction codes is detected by the branch instruction detection part, an instruction information storage part stores an address to be designated by the CPU and an instruction code to be acquired from the memory by the CPU concerning with a prescribed branch instruction and an instruction to be executed following this. An address comparing part detects the agreement of the address designated by the CPU with the address stored in the instruction information storage part. When the matching of the address is detected by the address comparing part, a memory access control part inhibits the CPU from acquiring the instruction code from the memory, and makes the CPU acquire the instruction code from the instruction information storage part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
