PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which enables a user to view a screen even in the case that it is difficult to view the screen because external light impinges on the screen. SOLUTION: The display device includes: a display part 10 which has a touch panel 12 provided in the front of a screen 11 and displays an image; a user detection part 30 which detects positions of a plurality of users A; an external light detection part 40 which detects external light impinging on the display part 10; and a control part 60 which controls a driving part 50 to change the direction of the display part 10 so that reflected light of external light is not directed to the positions of users. The control part 60 determines whether reflected light makes it difficult for each user A to view the screen 11 or not by detected positions of respective users A and the direction of the reflected light. When determining that it is difficult to view the screen 11, the control part 60 changes the direction of the display part 10 to enable the plurality of users A to view the image.
