<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag door capable of securing the excellent breakage of a side line by breaking a base material and a skin in a synchronized and favorable by-part breaking order when an airbag is inflated and deployed. <P>SOLUTION: In the airbag door, the remaining thickness of a base material at a center line of a tear groove formed in a shape of the airbag door is set to be smaller than that of the other portion. A long-hole shaped tear hole is formed from the bottom of the tear groove. A dot-shaped tear hole which penetrates the base material and reaches a skin is formed in a groove at the center line. Side line processing for lowering the breaking strength of the base material is executed in the groove in the vicinity of a meeting part on the side line with the center line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
