<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately detect deterioration of cooling performance in a computer with cooling performance monitoring function by intensively giving a fixed load to a processor to measure the temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The processor 2 preliminarily calculates, when the cooling performance of the computer 1 having the processor 2 is normal, normal-time temperature calculation data calculated from temperature data collected from a temperature sensor 3 by constantly giving load to the processor 2 for a fixed time, calculates, when the cooling performance of the computer 1 is monitored, monitoring-time temperature calculation data calculated from temperature data collected from the temperature sensor 3 by constantly giving load to the processor 2 for the fixed time, and makes an alarm means give an alarm when the difference between the monitoring-time temperature calculation data and the normal-time temperature calculation data exceeds a predetermined threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
