<p>The device (20) has an interface provided for a detecting device (60) that reads information. Another interface is provided for indirect or direct connection to an engine (30), an exhaust system (40) and a compressed air conditioning system (50). The device interprets the information, which is impressed to spare parts. The device is partly integrated into an on-board computer of a commercial motor vehicle (10) e.g. truck. The detecting device is firmly integrated in the vehicle. The detection device is connectable to the device by a cable connection or a radio contact. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for identification of spare parts for subsystems (2) a method for identification of spare parts for subsystems.</p> |
