A message service centre receives a message and determines that the terminal sending or receiving the message is a Single Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Multiple Numbers (SSMN) terminal. A virtual number of the SSMN number is then obtained by a SSMN processor and the received message is processed using the virtual number. Thus, multiple numbers of an SSMN subscriber can be online at the same time so that the subscriber may send and receive message through both the host and virtual numbers. |
