A pigment dispersion composition is provided to ensure high pigment dispersibility and dispersion stability and favorable color characteristics even when containing a high concentration of pigment. A pigment dispersion composition comprises a polymeric compound (A) comprising at least one partial structure selected from the following formula (1): -Q1-Q2-Z- and formula (2): -Rf-OH and having a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000 to 100,000, and a pigment (B). In the formula 1 and 2, Q1 represents -(C-O)- or -SO2-; Q2 represents -NH- or -CHR8-; Z represents -(C-O)-R9- or -SO2-R9-; R8 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group or an alkyl group; R9 represents an alkylene group, a cycloalkylene group or an arylene group; and R8 and R9 may be linked to each other by a linking group; and Rf represents an alkylene group substituted with at least one fluorine atom. |
