PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a support member for supporting a column cover or a wire harness etc. without inhibiting a useful function of an electric telescopic mechanism. SOLUTION: This steering device is provided with a steering column 12 having an outer column 12a and an inner column 12b each expanded/contracted and with an electric actuator 50 having one end mounted to the outer column 12a and the other end mounted to the inner column 12b and expanding/contracting the both columns 12a, 12b. The electric actuator 50 is provided with a rod 52 of which either one end is connected to one of the outer column 12a and the inner column 12b via a connection plate 53 and which is advanced/retracted axially by an electric mechanism 51. One end of the rod 52 is fastened and fixed to the connection plate 53 by a nut, and a washer part 91 of the support part 90 formed by integrating the washer part 91 with a support bracket part 92 is sandwiched between the rod 52 and the connection plate 53.
