PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel sheet pile having closing members for forming a blocking wall, and to provide a wall body using the steel sheet pile. SOLUTION: The steel sheet pile which has webs 5 at both sides of a connection flange 7 is provided with the closing members 1 for forming the blocking wall. Each closing member 1 has a base end fixed to either the web 5 or the flange 7 at the lower end of the steel sheet pile 2B, and a tip overhanging sideways toward the adjacent steel sheet pile. The steel sheet pile wall 15 is constructed by making the plurality of steel sheet piles penetrate the ground. In the steel sheet piles which are laterally adjacent to each other to form the steel sheet pile wall 15, the closing members 1 for forming the blocking walls are penetrated into the ground to the same levels, and lateral tips of the closing members 1 for forming the blocking walls are brought into contact with each other or close to each other. In this manner, the steel sheet pile wall provided with the blocking walls 16 exhibiting almost blocked appearance in cross section is constructed of the steel sheet piles provided with the closing members 1 for forming the blocking walls.
