PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surrounding vehicle display device capable of preventing uncomfortable feeling caused by actual mismatching in positional relationship even if a position of any other vehicle is displayed whose detection error becomes larger the farther the vehicle goes. SOLUTION: While the position of the other vehicle is measured by image recognition, coordinate transformation is performed on map data of the surrounding of a driver's own vehicle to make distant scale size relative to the driver's own vehicle smaller than adjacent scale size to the driver's own vehicle so that markers MJ, MT indicating the positions of the driver's own vehicle and the other vehicle are displayed on the transformed map. Even if the measuring error of the position of the other distant vehicle is large, the uncomfortable feeling does not occur wherein the visually observed position of the other vehicle is largely different from the position on a display because the distant scale size relative to the driver's own vehicle is small so that a difference presented on the display can be small.
