A cooler of an exhaust gas reduction apparatus is provided to reduce harmful component effectively in the vehicle equipped with an exhaust gas recirculation system by reducing the temperature of the exhaust gas recirculated to the diesel engine. A cooler of an exhaust gas reduction apparatus comprises a main body(10) having a cooling water inlet pipe(13) and a cooling water outlet pipe(14), a thermoelectric element(20) fixed to the flat side of the main body, a power line(30) connecting the battery for vehicle and the thermoelectric element in order to supply the power to the thermoelectric element, and a attachment means for attaching the thermoelectric element in the main body. The thermoelectric element includes radiator fins(21) formed on the opposite side of the attachment side with the main body. The attachment means includes a guide rail(11,12) of certain width in which a joint hole is formed, and a fastener(S) which is combined in the joint hole in order to fix the thermoelectric element to the main body.
