A plasma torch device and method for treating return ores by using plasma is provided to extend a lifetime by suppressing abrasion of an electrode. A plasma torch device includes a body(10), an electrode(50), a gas passage, a cooling water passage, and a gas twisting unit(80). The electrode is installed inside the body and generates plasma through discharge. The gas passage and the cooling water passage are built in the body and the gas passage supplies a gas to the electrode. The cooling water passage cools the device and the gas twisting unit is arranged around the electrode. The gas twisting unit twists the gas and moves an arc spot from the electrode, so the abrasion of the electrode is prevented. |
