A through-type fuel reformer is provided to relieve vibration which a resistance tank body receives by setting up a space holding member in fuel path air gap formed between an internal section of a contact part and an external section of a cover body. A space holding member(20) is formed in the fuel path air gap formed between the internal section of a contact part(4) formed on both end parts of a resistance tank body and the external section of a cover body. The space holding member has a shape which does not obstruct the fuel path. The space holding member relieves vibration which the resistance tank body receives. The space holding member has the fuel path air gap.
