PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-receiving module which inhibits a bad effect to a high-frequency signal and high-speed response due to a parasitic impedance, need not transfer molding, and has high productivity. SOLUTION: The light-receiving module includes a pre-amplifier circuit chip 3 on which a light-receiving element 2 is flip-chip-mounted, a base wiring substrate 4 which has a holding recess 4a containing the light-receiving element and is transparent to the predetermined light wave length, and a sleeve 7 which holds an optical fiber continually. The pre-amplifier circuit chip 3 is flip-chip-mounted on the base wiring substrate 4, and the sleeve 7 is centered so as to receive the signal light from the optical fiber by the light-receiving element 2 and is fixedly adhered on the base wiring substrate 4.
