PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cord display device capable of displaying a cord showing a present position easily during movement. SOLUTION: A radar detector 1 which is the cord display device is equipped with a solar panel 28a and a charging battery for radar monitoring, and is constituted so as to supply always the power. Hereby, the radar detector 1 can always specify the present position, and can display quickly a bar cord showing always-specifiable present position information on a liquid crystal monitor 24. Consequently, since a bar code including present position information can be presented quickly as the need arises in case of an accident or the like by using the radar detector 1, when the present position is required to be reported accurately to the police or the like in case of an accident or the like, the bar code is read by utilizing a camera provided on a cellular phone with the camera, and thereby the present position can be reported accurately to the police or the like.
