A tool for filling cracks or apertures on walls or ceilings comprises a hollow rubber or like resilient pad 1 having an arched cavity 3 to receive a small quantity of filling material, the cavity being closed by a relatively flexible base and surrounded by relatively stiff walls having sharply defined flanges 2. A ridge 4 is moulded on the opposite face of the pad and a handle 5 is moulded on the ridge. In a modification a springy wire handle 6 adapted to clamp on the ridge 4 is provided. Stopping material is applied by pressing the tool against the work. Sliding removal of the tool causes the walls of the recess to remove surplus material from the work surface. |
