A method and system for supervising a gas staging valve of a power generator in a power plant is provided to supervise whether a generator remains in stable operating zone by detecting a relative output signal of a power generator and then representing the opening variation of a gas staging valve based on the relative output variance in a graph. A method and system for supervising a gas staging valve of a power generator in a power plant comprises a relative output calculating part(504) calculating the relative output from an absolute output and a maximum output data of a power generator; a control part(506) controlling the opening of a fuel distribution valve in order to track the relative output by referencing the opening variation logic of a fuel adjusting valve stored; and a display part(508) viewing information with respect to the relative output and showing the opening variation logic of a fuel adjusting valve visually.
