A functional photo catalyst glasses using an ultraviolet ray is provided to perform sterilization and cleaning process by using photosynthesis due to a photo catalyst. A glasses body includes two lenses(2). A hinge is used in order to connect the glasses body to temples. The temples are made of various material of synthetic resin or non-ferrous metal etc. A surface of the glasses body including the temples and the lenses is coated by a photo catalyst member(10). The photo catalyst member is mainly made of TiO2. The TiO2 generates OH radical having a large energy corresponding to 120kcal/mol by an optical irradiation. The energy is larger than various bonding energies of C-C bonding, C-H bonding, C-N bonding, C-O bonding, O-H bonding, and N-H bonding of organic compound.
