PROBE INCLUDING IMPEDANCE MATCHING UNIT

An ultrasonic probe including an impendence matching unit is provided to improve the sensitivity of probe and increase the bandwidth by matching impedance between the cable and each converter. An ultrasonic probe comprises a converter array section(110) including a plurality of converters for cross-transforming electric signal and ultrasonic signal, and an impendence matching unit(120) connected to the converter array section and cable in order to match the impedance of the cable and the converter array section. The impendence matching unit consists of a plurality of impedance matching devices which correspond to the converters, respectively.
