FIELD: mechanics. ^ SUBSTANCE: extruder press consists of a housing that accommodates a screw with an integral end bit. Inside the housing there is a bearing mounted wherein the end bit is fixed. The end bits has axial and radial channels the latter enabling product pickup and delivery into the former. ^ EFFECT: minimisation of product spillage during the extrusion process and the working surfaces wear rate decrease. ^ 2 dwg
