<p>The invention relates to a plant with controlled operation, meant to purify the air in a polluted environment. According to the invention, the plant comprises a tube (1) provided with some longitudinal slits (2) covered by a sieve (3) wherein there is a Corona electrode (4) located along the tube axis and fixed, at the ends, on two dielectric covers (5), the two electrodes (1 and 4) being supplied from a D.C. high voltage source (S.AÄ.T.), the polluted gas entering the tube (1) by a diffusion effect, determined by the high value concentration gradient established between the internal and the external part of the tube (1), as a consequence of the fast entrainment of the particles which are in suspension in the gas towards the collecting Corona electrode (4), under the effect of the high voltage field, the tube (1) being periodically dismounted for cleaning, by submerging the same into a solution capable of dissolving the scale deposited on the tube without affecting the material it is made of.</p> |
