FIELD: chemistry; biochemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invented here are proteins of the meningococcus bacteria Neisseria meningitides (mainly strain B), with immunogenic properties. The proteins have defined amino acid sequences, presented in the description, and are coded with corresponding nucleotide sequences. Description is also given of an antibody, specific to the indicated meningococcus proteins. These proteins, coding their nucleotide sequences, as well as the specific antibody, can be used as an active ingredient in compositions for treating or preventing infection caused by Neisseria meningitides.
