FLOW RATE METERING DEVICE, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, FLOW RATE MEASUREMENT METHOD, FLOW RATE MEASUREMENT PROGRAM, AND FLUID SUPPLY SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make countermeasures to a new event more prompt and appropriate under environment where a flow rate measuring device is being used.

SOLUTION: In a gas meter 100, an ultrasonic flow meter 104 measures the flow rate of gas flowing in a passage 102, and a new event detecting unit 108 detects the occurrence of a new event that does not exist under the previous use environment from a measured flow rate pattern under the use environment of fluid. A transmission/reception unit 110 transmits a new event signal indicating the new event detected by a new event detecting unit 108 to a center device 200 via a network 300. The new event is exemplified by the introduction of a new gas tool into a user's house, an abnormal use of the tool, or the detection of CO generation.
