A tool for processing sheet-metal has a number of cooling channels for the coolant medium for over at least one surface of the tool. The cooling channels are designed and/or arranged so that that a maximally uniform cooling of the sheet-metal results. An independent claim is given for a method for adjusting the cooling behavior of a sheet-metal processing tool.
