A vehicle control method and a vehicle controller in which the purposes of a plurality of control logics can be achieved (satisfied) with good balance and appropriate control of a vehicle is performed as a whole. A request is outputted from each of a plurality of control logics having individual purposes for a plurality of kinds of control parameter in a vehicle. Target value of each control parameter is determined by arbitrating the request from each of a plurality of control logics for every kind of control parameter. If there is such a control logic as the request is reflected on the target value in the already executed arbitration, subsequent arbitration is performed while withdrawing or relaxing the request from that control logic.
