摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a glass article, by which molten glass having high homogeneity is easily obtained and the homogeneity of glass articles can be improved in manufacturing homogeneous glass articles from multi-component silicate glass, and to provide a mixed raw material for silicate glass melting and glass articles to be used for electronic parts. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing silicate glass comprises preliminarily mixing a plurality of silicate glass raw materials, feeding the mixture to a glass melting furnace and continuously manufacturing glass articles, and the method includes steps of: adjusting the content ratio of free quartz in silicon oxides in the mixed raw materials to a predetermined range; heating the free quartz in the mixed raw material to obtain a homogeneous glass state; determining a volume of each glass article, and measuring the appearance quality of the obtained glass article. The mixed raw materials for silicate glass melting has a content ratio of free quartz of not more than 60% in the mixed raw materials.
