PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience in a user by freely generating a combination of apparatus that belongs to the same group for each purpose of the user, for example. SOLUTION: A controller 101 detects the apparatus 102-105 connected via a network by using the first communication port number. Then, the controller 101 selects the apparatus that belongs to the same group among the detected apparatus in response to the designated operation of the user, and determines the second communication port number to be assigned to the group composed of the selected apparatus.
