A vehicle window regulator comprising a carrier plate 6 which is slidably movable on a guide rail 1 together with a wire member in an up-and-down direction, while being kept restrained from moving in a width direction X of a vehicle. The carrier plate 6 includes a base 10 having a pair of guide portions 17, 18 opposed to each other in the width direction X of the vehicle, between which one side flange 1b of the guide rail 1 is disposed in contact therewith. A pair of arms 11 extends from the base 10 in opposite directions along the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle, each arm having a tip end portion secured to a window panel. At least one hinge portion 12 is disposed between the base 10 and each of the arms 11 and is constructed to allow resilient deflection of each of the arms 11 in the width direction of the vehicle. |
