A brake switch failure diagnostic method is provided to determine whether the brake switch is available or not since the signal of the brake switch is determined. A brake switch failure diagnostic method comprises following steps: a first step(S1) which determines the case which the decreasing rate per hour of vehicle speed and RPM is over the definite value(x); a second step(S2) determining the case in which the car speed is over the constant value(a); a third step(S3) determining the case in which the TPS condition is less than the constant value(b); a fourth step(S4) that the car speed determines the case where the TPS value maintains 0 for the predetermined time in the state where 0 becomes; a fifth step(S5) determining the break signal. |
