An image stabilizing device, a method thereof, and a camera system are provided to reduce image blur generated in the camera system. An image sensor(106) obtains images of one scene through an exposure period overall. A movement detector(118) calculates a movement measurement of the image sensor during the exposure period, and is connected to the image sensor. A digital processor(102) is connected to the movement detector and provides movement measurement-based feedback to a user during the exposure period.
