<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing apparatus for achieving creation of a copy of data without imposing a burden on a CPU and a data transfer method for copying and transferring only the necessary number of received data. <P>SOLUTION: Reception data 203 read from a reception FIFO memory 202 are compared with the header information of a setting table 205 by a comparator 204, and the priority information of the reception data or the necessary/unnecessary of copy of the data is discriminated by a buffer management part 209 by using the corresponding parameter, and the necessary number of addresses are supplied to a DMA controller 213. A memory controller 214 DMA-transfers the reception data 203 to a corresponding address in an RAM 123. Thus, it is possible to convert the prescribed number of reception data acquired on the memory as necessary, and transmits the data to the destination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
